Kids: Summer Cookery Week 2

All our classes use as much locally sourced ingredients as possible and there is an emphasis on educating children on the importance of using fresh produce and learning how to cook dishes from scratch. The food created each day will be offered to the children for lunch, so they will come home with new skills and a full stomach.

Suitable for 9 - 15 years.

Please note that the Wednesday will be a technical baking afternoon from 1pm - 4pm

Day timings

10.00am - Welcome and introductions

10.10am - Run through of recipes

10.20am - Get in the kitchen

1.00pm - Plating up and garnishing

1.15pm - Lunch is served

1.35pm - Chat about lessons covered

2pm - Pick up and goodbyes

Wednesday timings

1.00pm - Welcome

1.10pm - Run though of baking techniques

1.20pm - Get baking!

3.30pm - Boxing up and overview of lessons learned

4.00pm - Pick up and goodbyes

A week before the course commences we will send you a detailed email with directions and all the information you need. Everything is provided including aprons, ingredients and recipes. Please let us know if your child has any dietary requirements when booking.
