Kids: Mexican Street Food

In this class kids will have the chance to master tacos from scratch. They will also learn to create classic street food accompaniments that finish off their Mexican feast! 

In this class: 

- Homemade tacos 

- Mexican spiced chicken 

- Vegetarian spiced filling 

- Tomato salsa

- Guacamole 

- Pickled red onions

All our classes use as much locally sourced ingredients as possible and there is an emphasis on educating children on the importance of using fresh produce and learning how to cook dishes from scratch.  The food created will be offered to the children for lunch, so they will come home with new skills and a full stomach.

Timings:

10am - Welcome and introductions

10.10am - Run through of recipes

10.20am - Get in the kitchen

1.00pm - Plating up and garnishing

1.15pm - Lunch is served

1.35pm - Chat about lessons covered

2.00pm - Pick up and goodbyes

We will send you a detailed email a week before the class to ensure you know exactly what to expect, including detailed directions to the venue. Everything is provided including aprons, ingredients and recipes.  Please let us know if your children have any dietary requirements in advance.
