TERMS & CONDITIONS

Reservation and Payment

To reserve a date for a private online or in person cookery class a deposit of £100 must be paid. The rest of the fee of the class must be paid 1 week before the class starting date. Failure to do so will result in the date being readily available for a separate party booking.


Cancelation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason we require two week's notice to transfer your credit onto a future class. If you give us more than a week's notice we will be able to give you 25% off a future class. Unfortunately if you need to cancel within a week, we do not offer any compensation. We do not offer refunds.

 

Merchandise and Equipment

All Yarrow Cookery School Equipment must be returned to the chef after an in-person class, merchandise such as aprons worn in the class must be returned or purchased for an additional cost. Students are expected to report, and where appropriate pay for, any damage and breakages.

 

Health and Safety

The school shall be under no liability whatsoever, for any loss, injury or damage to students or their property, whether in respect of any neglect, act or omission by the school, its agents or employees. Property belonging to students is brought to The Yarrow Cookery School at their own risk. Yarrow Cookery accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage. The Yarrow Cookery School takes photographs during courses. These photographs are sometimes used on The Yarrow Cookery School website, on social media, or in a printed format. If you would prefer that the photographs you (or your son or daughter) may be in are not used in this way, please let us know at the time of booking or during the course.

 

Food Allergy Policy

Ingredients may contain or have been manufactured/prepared on shared equipment with wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, soya and shellfish and other allergens. You must inform us of any dietary requirements and allergies that you and any other participants have at the time of booking and confirm those when you arrive for your cooking class. Where a person attends in replacement of another person. We will provide you with a work area that does not have the ingredients you are allergic to, however, whether you attend an in-person class or online class, you are ultimately also responsible for avoiding allergens and ensuring your guests avoid allergens. You alone are responsible, and we accept no responsibility, for ensuring that allergy and dietary requirements are looked after for anyone who consumes any food you take home from a cookery class.
