Whether you’re celebrating a 60th birthday, planning a family get-together, or throwing a party, our private cookery classes offer a truly memorable way to bring people together. From hands-on cooking to relaxed dining, demonstration led events and tranquil gardens to enjoy, you'll have the entire space to yourselves, perfect for making memories around the table. We can comfortably accommodate16 for hands cookery classes and 20 for demonstration led events. We're happy to tailor the experience to suit any dietary requirements or preferences.

Just 18 minutes by train from Edinburgh Waverley the Yarrow Cookery School is perfectly positioned, set on East Lothian’s beautiful coastline, in the fully restored 400-year-old Longniddry Steading, the school offers free on-site parking, EV charging and coach access making it easy for groups to visit from near or far.

SAMPLE TIMINGS
As we open exclusively for your group so we can welcome your group at any time. We suggest organising a class around lunch, tea or supper so that the delicious creations made can be enjoyed by the group.
10.00am
Welcome. We’ll show guests around the
facility and offer a complimentary tea,
coffee or locally foraged, home-made
elderflower cordial.
10.20am
Get cooking! The kitchen is a relaxed
space, so at any point guests can take a break in the bar or our outside spaces freely.
1.30pm
Relax at the table with the array of delicious
creations made.
This is another opportunity to order drinks from the bar.
2.30pm
Goodbyes.
We will send guests off with happy memories
and a little a something to remember their
experience with.
