Beer and Bao Buns

Experience the art of bao bun making in our 3-hour cookery class, where you'll craft delightful chicken and pork-filled buns from scratch. Led by The Yarrows and thier friendly team, this hands on session will guide you through each step of the process, from preparing the dough to filling and steaming the buns to perfection.

Here's what you can expect from the class:

• Learn to Make Bao Buns: Begin with the basics as you create soft, fluffy bao dough. You'll discover the techniques to achieve the ideal consistency and learn the nuances of shaping and steaming.
• Prepare Two Delicious Fillings: Explore classic flavors as you prepare savory chicken and pork fillings. Our chef will share expert tips for achieving rich, aromatic fillings that pair perfectly with the soft bao buns.
• Enjoy Two Complimentary Beers: To add to the fun, you'll get two complimentary beers. 
• Add The Fun At The Bar: Whether you prefer another beer, a refreshing mocktail, or a glass of wine, the bar has something for everyone.
• Sit, Relax and Chat: After the fun of cooking, enjoy your delicous food in our relaxed dining area. 

Disabled access: There is full disabled access and a wheelchair friednly cookery station, please let us know when booking if you require this for your experience.  

Location: Nestled in a stunning 400 year old steading, the school is just a few minutes walk from Longniddry train station. We have a free car park and EV chargers onsite. 

What to bring: We provide everything you need for the class, including aprons. You may prefer to wear comfortable shoes. 

Allergies: Due to the nature of the cookery school and the rotation of a wide range of cuisiens we can not accomadate any allergies. We can accomodate intolorances and dislikes - please let us know upon booking.
