Welcome to our 6-hour Intro to Bread Making class, where you'll explore the art of baking and enjoy a delightful hands-on experience! This session is perfect for those looking to learn the basics of bread making while having fun in a relaxed setting.
Here's what to expect:
Learning Bread-Making Techniques: Guided by our experienced instructors, you'll dive into the fundamentals of bread making, from mixing and kneading to proofing and baking. During this class, you'll learn to create a variety of breads, including focaccia, white sourdough, pitta bread, and French baguette. As you craft these breads, you'll discover key techniques and tips to achieve the perfect crust and crumb.
Enjoy a Delicious Lunch: After baking, you'll enjoy a communal lunch featuring your freshly made breads, paired with charcuterie, salads, and cheeses prepared by our cookery school team. It's a wonderful opportunity to taste your creations and relax with fellow participants.
Interactive and Social Atmosphere: Throughout the class, you'll have the chance to interact with other participants, share bread-making tips, and soak in the warm and friendly atmosphere. It's a great way to make new friends and enjoy a memorable experience.

Location and Parking: Our school is nestled in a charming 400-year-old steading, just a few minutes' walk from Longniddry train station. We offer free parking and have electric vehicle charging stations on-site.
What to Bring: We provide all the equipment and aprons you'll need for the class. You may want to wear comfortable shoes for the baking activities.
