Kids Halloween Class

Prepare for a spooktacular culinary adventure with our Kids Halloween Cooking Class at Yarrow Cookery School! Designed for young chefs aged 8 to 13, this hands-on class invites kids to explore the fun side of cooking with a Halloween twist. They'll learn to make pumpkin pasties and other hauntingly delicious treats, all while enjoying a safe and engaging environment.

Here's what they'll experience during the class:

• Pumpkin Pasties: Learn to make delicious pumpkin pasties from scratch. Our instructors will guide the kids through the process of preparing the pastry and filling, creating a spooky Halloween-inspired treat that’s perfect for the season.
• Fun Halloween Treats: In addition to pumpkin pasties, kids will make a variety of other Halloween-themed snacks and desserts. This could include spooky cupcakes, creepy cookies, or ghostly marshmallows. The emphasis is on creativity and fun, with a focus on safe cooking techniques.
• Interactive and Social Atmosphere: Throughout the class, kids will have the chance to interact with each other in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our instructors encourage teamwork and collaboration, fostering a sense of community among the participants.
• Halloween Costume Contest: To add to the Halloween spirit, kids are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes. There will be a costume contest with fun prizes, making this class even more enjoyable and memorable.
• Lunch Break with Homemade Treats: The class includes a lunch break where kids can enjoy some of their freshly made Halloween treats. It’s a great time to share their creations, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and make new friends.
• Location and Facilities: Yarrow Cookery School is nestled in a stunning 400-year-old steading, a short walk from Longniddry train station. The school offers a free car park and EV chargers on-site, making it convenient for parents to drop off and pick up their kids. We provide all the equipment, ingredients, and aprons needed for the class, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
