Following several successful ceremonies in previous years, Creative Oceanic powered by Oceanic Awards is proud to announce the 10th Food Awards Scotland 2024. For over a decade, these awards have been an annual celebration of Scotland’s food scene, honouring the country’s top culinary destinations while recognising the hard work and efforts of those committed to always providing the country with the freshest products and amazing delights. They will also showcase the best restaurants, takeaways, pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes, and bistros, as well as those who help us explore new flavours and cuisines from different cultures.
As with all award ceremonies hosted by Oceanic Awards, the public can submit their votes for the restaurants they feel deserve recognition. The Yarrow Cookery School, based in East Lothian, is one of the finalists in the Cookery School category. Richard and Sophia Yarrow will find out if they will be crowned winners and take the trophy home at a black-tie ceremony that will take place at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Monday, the 26th of August.
Sophia Yarrow expressed her excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to be finalists in the Cookery School category. The build of our new state-of-the-art, sustainable cookery school in Longniddry has been an exciting journey. At Yarrow Cookery School, it’s all about creating memories through cooking and connections. Our fun bar and friendly vibe ensure every class is an unforgettable experience. Sustainability is key for us, and we are committed to eco-friendly practices throughout our school. We believe in nurturing the next generation, which is why our classes also include exciting and educational cooking sessions for kids, inspiring them to explore the world of food from a young age.”
