Welcome to Yarrow Cookery School
The UK’s first fossil-fuel-free cookery school, set within a beautifully restored 450-year-old steading on Scotland’s Golf Coast in East Lothian, just 18 minutes from Edinburgh.
Founded in 2020, Yarrow has grown into one of Scotland’s most exciting food destinations. In 2025, we opened our newly restored cookery school, a purpose-built space designed for hands-on learning. From fresh pasta and seasonal Scottish cooking to relaxed, sociable food experiences, every class is practical, welcoming and genuinely useful.
Our modern teaching kitchen sits within centuries-old walls, thoughtfully designed to feel approachable for everyone, from complete beginners to confident home cooks, with free parking and EV charging on site.
Yarrow is more than a cookery school. It’s a place to cook, learn and spend time well.
